River Sing, a Public Gathering in Celebration of Autumn
Story aired: Tuesday, November 15, 2005

Boston and Cambridge, separated by the Charles River, now have a new tradition that bridges the two cities with song. Thousands flocked to the banks on each side on September 22nd to sing back and forth and celebrate autumn. Coordinated by the performance group Revels and the Charles River Conservancy, the event featured groups like "The Swiss Alp Horns," "The Second Line Social Aid," and "Pleasure Society Brass Band."

Guests:

George Emlen, the Cambridge-based Revels
