What are Young People Thinking?
Story aired: Friday, November 18, 2005

The editors at Vanity Fair magazine are sifting through thousands of essays submitted for the magazine's annual essay contest.

Readers responded to this question: "What's on the minds of America's youth today?" The winners will be announced in the spring.

Matt Turnhour is editor at large at Vanity Fair and he says the essays break down into distinct categories.
