Film Festival Seeks to Inspire Young People to Action

Teenage film makers from the across the country are coming to Boston this weekend for the country's longest running teen-curated film festival.

It's called the "Do It Your Damn Self!" National Youth Video and Film Festival the films are curated by teens from (largely from public housing ) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This year's selections include films about youth anger, coming out of the closet and jail.

Melina O'Grady, teen media program director for the Community Arts Center in Cambridge which sponsors the film festival.
