When people describe music as "indie," or independent, they're often talking about how it sounds rather than how it's produced and distributed. Arthur Nasson is truly independent, with no agent, no representation, and virtually no other musicians on his albums.
Nasson has managed to grab the attention of MTV and at least one radio station in Europe. He has three CDs out on his one-man label "Philistine Records": an experimental album called "Static Orange Box," and a rock album called "The Battle of Melrose Street."
