Lobbyist Jack Abramoff

Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff is expected to plead guilty to fraud charges today as part of a deal that involves his cooperation in the federal influence peddling investigations involving members of Congress.

It's a far-reaching case that includes charges stemming from Abramoff's purchase of a Florida casino boat business, and tens of millions of dollars he allegedly overbilled to Indian tribes seeking approval for their gambling projects.
