Attacks Kill 15 in Iraq

Explosions killed 15 people in Baghdad Friday. The attacks were carried out as the first final tally of election results were released confirming that Shiite parties will dominate Iraq's new government.

Friday is also the deadline the kidnappers of reporter Jill Carroll have said they will kill her if authorities do not release Iraqi women prisoners.

Earlier Friday morning, one of Iraq's most influential Sunni leaders called for Carroll to be freed. Adnan Dulaimi, head of a Sunni political group, was the man Carroll was on her way to interview when she was kidnapped on January 7th.
