"The X List: The National Society of Film Critics' Guide to the Movies That Turn Us On"
Valentine Movie Suggestions in "The X-List"
Story aired: Monday, February 13, 2006

Film critic Pauline Kael said Bernardo Bertollucci's X-rated film "Last Tango in Paris" was the most erotic movie ever made; but if sadomasochism and murder aren't your cup of tea, we have some other suggestions for St. Valentine's Eve. But beware; sex and love are not the same thing.

That topic is reinforced in a new book entitled "The X-List: The National Society of Film Critics' Guide to Movies that Turn Us On."

Contributing editors Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal and Peter Rainer of the Christian Science Monitor tell us more.

Films featured in the book:

"Last Tango in Paris"
"The Makioka Sisters"
"Troy"
"Don't Look Now"
"Trouble in Paradise"
"Last of the Mohicans"
"Persona"
"Y Tu Mama Tambien"
"The Mummy"
"Tarzan and His Mate"

Guests:

Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal

Peter Rainer of TheChristian Science Monitor

Both were contributing editors to "The X-List"
