Cheney on the Firing Line
Story aired: Wednesday, February 15, 2006

The White House is still feeling the heat due to the recent activities of Vice President Cheney. The 78-year-old man shot this weekend by Cheney is back in intensive care after suffering a minor heart attack yesterday.

Cheney, who has issued only two short statements on the incident, is being urged by members in both parties to publicly address the matter.

Some senior republicans blame Cheney's poor representation on late night comics who have grabbed hold of the incident, reinforcing Cheny's image as secretive and unaccountable.

Guests:

Peter Baker, White House reporter for The Washington Post
