Hockney's Personal Portraits
Story aired: Monday, February 27, 2006

British artist David Hockney is best known for his sun-drenched California landscapes, but the 68-year-old Hockney has been making portraits since he was a teenager. He's done some portraits on celebrities, but hundreds on his family, friends, and himself.

In the first major exhibition devoted to the personal side of Hockney, 150 of these portraits are on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
