A new poll by AP-Ipsos shows that Americans hold very conflicted views on abortion. While much of the country is engaged in a debate over abortion -- another more private debate is being waged over termination: the right to end a specific pregnancy. Elizabeth Weil wrote about the topic of selective abortion in the Sunday New York Times Magazine. In an article titled "A Wrongful Birth?" Weil tells the story of a woman who brought a lawsuit claiming that lack of information and care from her obstetrician deprived her of the right to abort her severely disabled son.
