In Rome on Friday, Pope Benedict the 16th installed his first group of cardinals during an elaborate ceremony filled with symbolism.
Among the new princes of the church there are two Americans -- Boston's Archbishop Sean O'Malley and William Levada for archbishops of San Francisco and Portland. Levada is now in Pope Benedict's old job as the Vatican's new chief doctrinal watchdog.
