A Sergeant Returns to the Ballet
Story aired: Friday, April 21, 2006

Sergeant Terry Blogg, a professional soldier and elite army ranger, is also a professional ballet dancer with Columbia City Ballet in South Carolina. We spoke with him when he was deployed in Iraq last June, and he memorably told us about how his ballet skills came in handy when patrolling the streets of Baghdad.

Sergeant Blogg is now back in the States, and despite being away from ballet for a year, he will perform the lead in "Coppelia" in the Boston area this weekend with his girlfriend, dancer Miranda Bailey. They play happy-go-lucky lovers Franz and Swanilda.

Guests:

Dancer Sergeant Terry Blogg

Dancer Miranda Bailey
