NOLA Jazz Fest
Story aired: Tuesday, May 02, 2006

Hundreds of local musicians are also making their way to what fans call "jazz fest," and some of those folks never left.

Just a few short weeks after Katrina hit, an a-list group of Crescent City musicians assembled in an Austin recording studio, not for a best of or a benefit for victims collection, but to turn tragedy into music

They called themselves the New Orleans Social Club. And a member of that collectiive -- singer and keyboard player Henry Butler -- joins us from Audio Works Studio in New Orleans.

Guests:
