Bush Immigration Address

President Bush is expected to announce plans tonight to send thousands of national guard troops to patrol the U.S. border with Mexico.

The move is seen as an attempt to satisfy the president's conservative base, which is demanding a crackdown on the country's estimated 11 million illegal immigrants.
