Rice Addresses Boston College Graduating Class
Story aired: Monday, May 22, 2006

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice did not mention Iraq today as she delivered the commencement address at Boston College. Since the announcement of Rice as speaker, the campus has hotly debated her visit. Protestors argued that her role in the Iraq war conflicts with BC's Jesuit mission.

Today, Rice recalled her own Catholic education and established her respect for the ideals of Boston College.
