Supreme Court Rules Against Internal Whistleblowers Story aired: Tuesday, May 30, 2006
In a ruling that comes as government investigators look into the leak of an undercover CIA agent's name to the media, as well as the disclosure of classified information about warrantless wiretaps and US secret prisons abroad, the US Supreme Court ruled today that internal whistleblowers are not protected by free speech and are subject to repercussions.
