After a car bomb exploded next to CBS news correspondent Kimberly Dozier yesterday in Baghdad, reports say she is responsive, and in critical, but stable condition. Such casualties underscore the risks everyone faces in Iraq.
NPR's foreign correspondent, Jamie Tarabay, has been covering Iraq since the formal end of hostilities in 2003. We spoke with her last week while she was on a break in Boston about opinions and concerns surrounding the Iraqi security forces stationed in Baghdad.
