Barbecues and the Fourth of July are an American tradition. And the grilling business has never been better with Americans buying about 15 million grills last year.

Gone are the days of the charcoal-powered hibachi. Now it's stainless steel gas grills that fire up with the push of a button.

But luxury grills are just the beginning of a backyard revolution that includes entire outdoor kitchens with refrigerators, sinks and even pizza ovens.

Here & Now's Kevin Sullivan visited the home of Boston-area chef Stephanie Sokolove who has turned her backyard into an outdoor sanctuary.
