Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, left, salutes during an appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" (AP)
Musharraf's U.S. Tour
Story aired: Wednesday, September 27, 2006

Jon Stewart's guest on "The Daily Show" last night was Pakistan's President Parvez Musharraf, who seems to be on as much of a book tour as a policy visit. Last night, Musharraf diplomatically took his tea with a Twinkie.

Tonight he dines at the White House with Presidents Bush and Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan.

Joining us to talk about the Pakistani president's visit is Adil Njam, professor of international negotiation and diplomacy at Tuft University's Fletcher School.
