"The Lighthouse" is Baroness PD James's latest installment in her series featuring a Scotland Yard police commander and poet, Adam Dalgliesh. He and his team are investigating the death of a famous writer, who is found hanging from a ligthouse on an isolated island retreat. There are personal ramifications for commander Dalgliesh and his team, including detective inspector Kate Miskin who has her own reservations about the case.
