President Bush in his much anticipated and leaked address tonight is expected to propse sending 21,500 additional U.S. forces to Iraq and to spend $1.5 billion in reconstruction and job creation.

Well, how it Iraq reacting to the president's plan?

National Public Radio is reporting that militants in the Shiite stronghold of Sadar City are rumored to be going door to door distributing grenades. And just yards from the Green Zone a 1,000 American and Iraqi troops battled Sunni insurgents yesterday leaving at least 50 dead. Los Angeles Times correspondent Louise Roug joins us from Baghdad.
