Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice meets with diplomats and leaders in Egypt and Saudi Arabia today, a day after a similar session in Jordan.
Moderate Arab governments plan to tell Rice they will help Washington stabilize Iraq if the U.S. takes more active steps to revive a broad peace initiative between Israel and its neighbors.
Rice also announced today that she will soon join the leaders of Israel and the Palestinians in three-way talks aimed at forging a Middle East peace agreement.
