Suspect Arraigned 43 Years After Crime Story aired: Thursday, January 25, 2007
James Seale, a 71-year-old former sheriff's deputy, was arraigned today on federal kidnapping charges in the case of two African American men murdered in rural Mississippi in 1964.
The bodies of Charles Moore and Henry Dee, both 19-years-old, where recovered from the Mississippi River two months after they went missing.
Investigators had thought James Seale was dead, but Thomas Moore, the brother of Charles, was instrumental in tracking down the onetime klansman.
