Mitt Romney formerly announced his bid for the Republican Party nomination today in Michigan, the state where his father George Romney ran the now defunct American Motors Company, governed for three terms and launched his own unsuccessful presidential bid back in 1967.

Joining us to take more about Mitt Romney and his dad and Michigan is Nolan Finley who edits the editorial page of The Detroit News.
