JetBlue's Ups and Downs Story aired: Tuesday, February 20, 2007
JetBlue is promising to pay passengers for their lost time. The company unveiled its customer bill of rights, offering flyers travel vouchers ranging from $25 to a free round trip ticket when their flights are delayed or cancelled. JetBlue is trying to repair its tarnished image after cancelling about 1100 flights in the wake of a snowstorm last week. And JetBlue CEO David Neeleman said passengers would be paid retroactively for last week's delays. That alone could cost JetBlue up to $30 million.
We talk with Doug Cameron of the Financial Times about JetBlue's ups and downs.
