Last night Oscar winner Al Gore brought global warming to the Academy Awards. Today scientist from 60 countries launched a two year study of ice. We asked environmental journalist and Here & Now contributor Dan Grossman, just back from trips to the Arctic and Antarctica to explain the state of the world's ice.
