Bush Speaks on Iraq Story aired: Monday, March 19, 2007
President Bush spoke from the White House today on this, the fourth anniversary of the start of the war in Iraq. The president said the war can be won and that he received an update earlier today from Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and General David Petraeus, the U.S. commander in Iraq.
Joining us to talk about military strategy in Iraq is Andrew Bacevich, a retired Army colonel and currently a professor of international relations at Boston University.
