Daniel Pearl (AP File)
The Pearl Project
Story aired: Monday, April 02, 2007

Both the late Daniel Pearl's wife Marianne and his parents, Ruth and Judea, remain unconvinced by reports that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed confessed to beheading the Wall Street Journal reporter.

And Asra Nomani isn't convinced either. Nomani is a Wall Street Journal collegue and friend of Daniel Pearl who spent the weeks in between his capture and death in 2002 trying to locate Pearl. And since his death, she's been trying to find out who killed him. This year she helped launch The Pearl Project, an investigative journalism class at Georgetown University that aims to find out who really killed Danieil Pearl.
