Officials in Britain say they have agreed to discuss with Iran ways to prevent future disputes in the Persian Gulf. Iran in turn has apparently agreed not to broadcast any more footage of those captured British crew members.

Meanwhile, questions have been raised about the role of the Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard, whose naval forces snatched the British sailors and marines more than a week ago.
