The Imus Fallout
Story aired: Tuesday, April 10, 2007

Members of the Scarlett Knights basketball team of Rutgers University held a press conference where captain Essence Carson talked about how angry and sad Imus' comments made the team. Last week the radio personality called the women on the team "nappy-headed ho's."

Imus has repeatedly apologized for his remarks and has been suspended for two weeks starting Monday. He also appeared on the radio show of Al Sharpton yesterday where the civil rights activist restated his call for Imus's termination.

For more on the controversy we turn to Richard Prince, a
journalist who writes about diversity issues in an online column for the Maynard Institute.
