Gunman Sends Video and Writings to NBC
Story aired: Thursday, April 19, 2007

That disturbing video footage of Seung-Hui Cho sent to NBC News along with an 1,800 word diatribe written by the Virginia Tech gunman have given the public a closer look at the troubled 23-year-old. But police say it offers no further clues on why he would murder 32 people.

Meanwhile, university officials today announced all of the victims would receive post-humous degrees and that students will be given the option of ending their semester now, instead of finishing the rest of their classes.

We speak with Lisa Anderson, New York bureau chief for the Chicago Tribune who is covering the story in Blacksburg, Virginia.
