Some schools are turning to income-based integration programs in reaction to last week's Supreme Court decision striking down the voluntary use of race to integrate schools and achieve diversity.
We get an overview from New York Times Education Reporter Tamar Lewin, and then speak with the former superintendent of schools in La Crosse, Wisconsin, which was a pioneer in using a family income based program.
