Healthcare for Wounded Veterans Story aired: Wednesday, July 25, 2007
A presidential commission on healthcare for wounded veterans will recommend system improvements today, such as increased benefits for family members and simplifying rules and procedures for determining disability. We talk with Todd Bowers, director of Government Affairs for the advocacy group, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America. He served two tours of duty in Iraq with the Marines and was wounded by a sniper's bullet.
