A Conversation with Alan Alda

Alan Alda is a hugely successful actor with Oscar and Tony Award nominations and 11 seasons as Korean War surgeon "Hawkeye" Pierce on the TV comedy series "MASH." But to his friends and family, Alan Alda is the one to call for a commencement speech or eulogy.

His new book, "Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself" is a collection of some of these speeches, as well as his essays and other writings.
