When reporter Mike O'Connor was growing up, he knew that his parents were hiding some sort of deep secret. His family would repeatedly pack up at a moments notice, abandoning pets, friends and furniture. Long after he left home, he used his reporting skills to find out what his parents were running from. He tells their story and his in the new book "Crisis, Pursued by Disaster, Followed Closely by Catastrophe: A Memoir of Life on the Run."
