The Senate Agriculture Committee puts its finishing touches on the farm bill today, amid controversy about the distribution of subsidy funds from the $288 billion plan. We talk to Congressional Quarterly reporter Catherine Richert about the Senate committee version of the bill, and ask her if the bill is qualitatively different from the last one.
