Tawassul is an Arabic word meaning interconnection and outreach. It's also the name of an organization in Massachusetts that promotes Palestinian art and culture in the area. The group recently wrapped up the first ever Boston Palestine Film Festival. We speak with organizer Salma Abu Ayyash about the series' reception and what makes a film Palestinian.
