Comedian Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central's "The Colbert Report" announced his candidacy for president last week. He's only running in his native South Carolina. Colbert's numbers are strongest among beer drinkers and pot smokers and he has set the lofty goal of winning one delegate in his home state. While Colbert's bid for the nation's highest office may be good for a chuckle to many, some election officials are not laughing. South Carolinians can vote in either party's primary.
