A Wicked Accent
Story aired: Tuesday, October 30, 2007

In "Gone Baby Gone," the new Ben Affleck movie, actors take yet another stab at the Boston accent. But unlike many of its predecessors, this Boston movie drew part of its cast right off the city's streets. Eda Roth is a dialect coach in the Boston area and she coached actors in the films "Monument Ave," "Once Around" and "Bringing Down the House." She tells us how she teaches the hard-to-master Boston accent.
