Zoe's Ark
Orphan Debacle in Chad
Story aired: Wednesday, October 31, 2007

The Chadian government has charged 16 members of Zoe's Ark, a European NGO, of attempting to smuggle 103 children out of the country. Zoe's Ark publicly vowed to save 10,000 children in Darfur from starving, but the group is now accused of taking those children from their homes in order ot put them up for adoption in Europe. We talk with Newsweek's Christopher Dickey about the incident and its impact on other NGOs operating in Africa.
