Gun Case
Story aired: Tuesday, November 13, 2007

For the first time in decades the United States Supreme Court is being asked to consider whether the Second Amendment to the Bill of Rights grants individuals the right to own guns.

A lower court has ruled a strict handgun ban in Washington, D.C. unconstitutional, and the District of Columbia appealed to the Supreme Court.

We speak with the Cato Institute's Robert Levy, who funded the original lawsuit challenging the D.C. law and also recruited the plaintiffs.
