Lead Dangers in the Home

This year has seen a record number of toy recalls due to lead hazards. But toys may be just the beginning of the problem. Consumer Reports has conducted its own investigation into lead dangers and found that everyday items like house keys, belts and even pasta bowls contain dangerous levels of lead. We talk to Don Mayes, Senior Director of Product Safety Planning at Consumers Union, the non-profit organization that publishes Consumer Reports about their four-month investigation into lead dangers.
