Both Republicans and Democrats have said they support a smaller federal government including a smaller, more technologically-based military. Alasdair Roberts, professor of public administration at Syracuse University argues that when the war in Iraq started, it might reasonably have been called George Bush's war. Now he says it's "our war." His article appears in Foreign Policy magazine.
