CIA VIDEOTAPES Bush administration lawyers are expected to speak publicly and under oath for the first time in federal court today about the CIA's destruction of videotapes showing harsh interrogations of two terrorism suspects overseas. In question is whether the destruction of the tapes violated a judge's order requiring evidence to be preserved for lawsuits brought by terrorism suspects being held at Guantanamo Bay. Washington Post reporter Carol Leonnig has an update.
POLITICAL DYNASTIES If Hillary Clinton is elected president and were to serve two terms, that would mean a Bush or a Clinton would have occupied the White House for nearly 30 years. Conservative Republican Grover Norquist is proposing a constitutional amendment to bar family members from following each other into office.
