U.S. Supreme Court (AP)
Right to Bear Arms
Story aired: Tuesday, March 18, 2008

For the first time in 70 years, the United States Supreme Court heard arguments today in a case that could define the Second Amendment right to bear arms. The case challenges Washington DC's 32-year-old ban on handguns and could lead the justices to weigh in, for the first time, on whether individuals or groups, like militias, have the right to bear arms. Our guests are Lyle Denniston of Scotusblog.com and George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley.
