Runner with Prosthetic Legs South African runner and double amputee Oscar Pistorius begins an appeal today for the right to run in the Beijing Olympic Games. Pistorius was barred by the International Association of Athletic Federations. At issue are his state of the art "cheetah" prosthetic legs, which may give him an unfair advantage over other runners. A ruling is due within a month.
