Al Qaeda
Story aired: Tuesday, May 06, 2008

Where is Osama bin Laden? What is the status of Al Qaeda today? And who is signing up? New intelligence reports say that Al Qaeda has re-grouped and found dynamic new leaders to replace the ones captured and killed after 9/11. It has fresh new recruits, from Europe as well as the Middle East . But it faces internal tensions and increasingly sharp criticism from fellow Muslims. We speak with Peter Bergen, senior fellow at the New America Foundation and author of "The Osama Bin Laden I Know: An Oral History of Al Qaeda's Leader."

Guests:

Peter Bergen, senior fellow at the New America Foundation
