Haiti Food Crisis
The head of the U.N. World Food Program said this week that high food prices have caused a "global hunger emergency." There have been riots across the world, including in Haiti, where more than half the population lives on less than $1 a day. We speak with Dr. Evan Lyon, a resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital who works in Haiti with Paul Farmer's Partners in Health clinics.

The lawyer for skycaps at Logan International Airport in Boston is asking a judge to overturn an American Airlines ban on tipping. The ban was instituted after the porters won a $325,000 class action lawsuit last month against the airlines. The skycaps claim American's $2.00 curbside check-in fee cuts into their tips. We speak with the skycaps' head lawyer, Shannon Liss-Riordan.
