"A Healing Touch"
Richard Russo
Story aired: Monday, May 12, 2008

When Pulitzer prize winning author Richard Russo was approached to help raise funds for hospice volunteers in Maine, he was less than optimistic about his ability to do so. Then he heard some of the stories of the volunteers themselves. As a result, he has edited a book of stories entitled, "A Healing Touch: True Stories of Life, Death, and Hospice."
